As stated in the definition of Recreational Division it is intended that competitors do not invest in competition attire.
Recreational is a 'low cost' environment in which the term 'Street Dress' is often used to describe clothing that can be cheaply obtained from retailers. It should never be assumed that any clothing you can purchase 'off the shelf' from a retailer would be acceptable. There are many examples of heavily decorated dresses that can be purchased at retail outlets however the use of decorations is very much outside the 'spirit' of the Recreational Division.
