DanceSport Australia Anti-Doping Policy

The DanceSport Australia anti-doping policy is the Australian National Anti-Doping Policy, effective from 1 January 2021, and found here on the Sport Integrity Australia website. All members, participants and non-participants in the sport of DanceSport are bound by these rules.

In this Anti-Doping Policy, references to the Sporting Administration Body are to be read as references to DanceSport Australia that has approved this policy as the anti-doping policy for their sport in accordance with the rules of their sport. Sporting Administration Body references in the policy to the International Federation are references to that Sporting Administration Body’s International Federation.

The International Standard for Therapeutic Use Exemptions (ISTUE) was created with the understanding that, due to illness or medical condition, an Athlete may require the Use of medications or treatments on the World Anti-Doping Agency’s (WADA’s) Prohibited List.

The List of Prohibited Substances and Methods (List) indicates what substances and methods are prohibited in sport and when.
