Every person 16 years and over who registers with DanceSport Australia is a DSA Member, with the right to vote to elect the DSA Governing Bodies.
The Division you register in - Recreational, Amateur or Professional - sets which events you compete in. It does not change the fact that you are a Member of DanceSport Australia.
Competitors under 16 years of age register in the Under 16 Division.
A further class of competitor (Athlete Licence) is available for those who intend to compete in Para Dance, Special Olympics (including Olympic selection events for Breaking), and other genres of competitive dance.
DanceSport Australia has a special category of registration for volunteers. This registration allows for the recording of a person's 'Working with Children' or 'Working with Vulnerable People' check.Click here to go to the 'Volunteer Registration'
Under 16 Competitor registration - this allows a person to compete in Under 16 Division competitions and Cross-Divisional events such as Coach/Student.
Recreational, Amateur and Professional Divisions are for competitors 16 years and over.

Breaking & Hip-Hop Events
Rock n Roll Events
NOTE: The Athlete Licence is NOT for competitors who intend to compete in traditional DanceSport Events (Standard, Latin & New Vogue).
