Your Username is your identification to the DSA Database system. This name (identifier) must be unique, that is, only used by one person (user).
For security reasons this name should be an email address owned by the user. In the case of a password reset, this is where the the reset information will be sent.
Users cannot change their Username, this can only be done through the Database Administrator. Use the Contact DSA page to initiate the request. An email will be sent to the proposed address for verification.
If there is no email address available (or it conflicts with an existing User) at the time the Member's account is created a temporary Username will be assigned. It is up to the Member to provide the Database Administrator with an updated (unique) email address.
