Under 16 Division
Competitors who are under 16 in the year (DSA age groups go by year of birth). One fee covers them – there is no separate Membership fee.
For Under 16 Division competitors. Includes everything an Under 16 competitor needs for the year.
For Under 16 athletes in Para-Dance, Special Olympics & All Abilities, Breaking and Hip-Hop, and Rock n Roll events – not DanceSport events.
Membership – 16 and over
Everyone 16 and over pays the Membership fee each year, then a fee for each registration or licence they hold below.
Required every year for everyone 16 and over, whatever else they hold.
Competing – 16 and over
Paid on top of the Membership fee.
To compete in Recreational Division events – danced to a restricted syllabus and without competition attire. For newcomers 16 and over.
To compete in Amateur or Professional events under the Rules of DanceSport Australia.
For athletes 16 and over in Para-Dance, Special Olympics & All Abilities, Breaking and Hip-Hop, and Rock n Roll events. Not for DanceSport events – that is a Competitor licence.
An adult competitor who also coaches pays Membership $60 + Competitor $38 + Coach $80 = $178.
Accreditation Licences
For members who hold the accreditation. Paid on top of the Membership fee.
A Competitor who also holds Level 0 Coaching pays this one combined fee instead of both.
For members holding a Level 0 Coaching accreditation.
For members holding a Level 1, 2 or 3 Coaching accreditation.
For members holding an Adjudicating accreditation.
For members holding a Chairperson accreditation. Free for those who hold both the Adjudicator and Coach (Level 1 or above) licences.
For members holding a Scrutineering accreditation. Free for those who hold both the Adjudicator and Coach (Level 1 or above) licences.
Keep your Membership renewed each year to keep an accreditation – reinstating a lapsed accreditation costs extra.
Day Passes
Try a competition without registering for the year.
For one competition only, in Under 16 or Recreational Division events. Not available to anyone who is, or has been, registered in the Amateur Division. Competing at several events in the year? A full registration is better value.

Registered Training Facilities
Annual fees for studios and schools registered with DanceSport Australia.
The annual fee for an RTF Endorsed Provider. Each RTF nominates a Principal, who must be a member of DanceSport Australia; the RTF account is reached through the Principal's own login. What is an RTF?
