Transfer from Recreational (16+ Years) 2025

Fee Amount $55

A Recreational Competitor over the age of 16 years can transfer to an Amateur Competitor Membership at any time by applying online.

Amateur Competitors may;

COMPETE in the Amateur Division at DSA events.
VOTE to elect the DSA Governing Bodies (subject to probationary requirements).
Stand for ELECTION or be appointed to a State Board in the State they reside.
Attain ACCREDITATION for Coaching, Adjudicating or Scrutineering.

NOTE: Once the application is processed, you will be transferred to C Grade in all styles, with no elevation points.

Any unused Participation Points accrued in your Recreational account for voucher redemption will be transferred to your Amateur account.

DanceSport Australia is committed to providing a sport and work environment free of discrimination and harassment (sexual or otherwise), where individuals are treated with respect and dignity, and where children are protected from abuse. DanceSport Australia will not tolerate behaviour, which constitutes abuse; discrimination or harassment under any circumstances and will take disciplinary action against anyone who breaches our Member Protection Policy. Failure to meet these requirements could lead to a report being submitted to the Branch Ethics and Conduct Committee.
