National Council Announcement: Recent Changes and Member Update
Dear Members,
The DanceSport Australia National Council officially announces two recent changes to the National Council.
Firstly, it is with regret that we announce the resignation of David Smith from his roles as National Councillor and Chair of the Competitors Commission. David has chosen to refocus on personal commitments and his return to professional competition. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to David for his dedicated service and significant contributions to DanceSport Australia. We wish him all the best in his return to competitive dancing and in all his future endeavours.
We are pleased to announce that National Councillor, Brodie Barden will fulfill the role of Chair of the Competitors Commission.
Additionally, we are thrilled to welcome back Barry White to the National Council. Barry, who previously served as President, unfortunately had to step down shortly after the last election due to health and personal reasons. We are grateful for Barry's improved health and his decision to rejoin us as a ratified National Councillor. His experience and commitment to DanceSport Australia are invaluable, and we offer our sincere appreciation for his return to the Council.
Rest assured, the National Council remains steadfast in our commitment to serving our valued members, and to advancing DanceSport across Australia.
