2023 ADS Premiere Championship - Entries Open!
The entries are now open for one of Victoria's prestigious events, the ADS Premiere DanceSport Championship to be held at the Broadmeadows Town Hall . Unique to this year only, this competition will be held on Saturday 29 July 2023.
Broadmeadows Town Hall is a historically sentimental venue for dancing as it was the home to the Australian Dancesport Championships back in the 80s. The venue has since been refurbished into a beautiful ballroom with premium table seating.
First Year Registered and Social Events
This year sees the introduction of two new sections to the Premiere Championship to embrace our beginner and developing competitors in the Under 16 age group.
- Under 16 Social Lead and Follow events
For dancers who have never competed or been registered with DanceSport Australia before. Access to these events is via a Social Pass. Please ask your Coach to contact the Organisers to obtain a Social Pass.
- Under 16 First Year Registered events
These are individual partnered events for those who have been registered with DanceSport Australia for less than 12 months.

Event Conditions:
1. The Premiere is registered with Dancesport Australia as a Championship event.
2. All C Grade couples are eligible to dance up to B Grade.
3. Amateur Division Masters 1 couples may dance Adult OPEN events.
4. Amateur Division Masters 2 may dance Masters 1 OPEN events.
5. Amateur Division Masters 3 may dance Masters 2 OPEN events.
6. Amateur Division Masters 4 may dance Masters 3 OPEN events.
7. Sub Juvenile couples are eligible to dance Juvenile OPEN events.
8. Social competitors will need to contact organiser at
premierechampionship.ads@gmail.com to organise DSA Social passes free of charge.
9. The organiser reserves the right to combine or alter events with limited entries.
10. First Year registered events are for inexperienced dancers and should be registered
with Dancesport Australia for the first time in 2023. We appreciate your cooperation
in this matter.
11. The following events will take place in the First session:
Sub Juvenile, Juvenile, Junior, Recreational,
Coach & Student and Professional & Student.
12. The following events will take place in the Second session:
Under 21, Adult, Masters 1, Masters 2, Masters 3, Masters 4,
Pro-Am and Professional events.
