DanceSport Australia Email Service
DanceSport Australia provides an email service that can be used by all Organisers of DanceSport Australia registered competitions.
This allows organisers to communicate directly to all competitors that have entered a particular competition and provide them with updates, reminders and competition information at any time prior to the event.
Many organisers share information about their competitions on social media such as Facebook and Instagram. However, it should be noted that not all competitors subscribe to social media. Emails help increase the chances competitors receive the information you wish to communicate.
Here are some examples of email content organisers may wish to share
- Competition updates if any changes have been made to advertised details
- Payment reminders for Entry Fees and Tickets
- Handy venue information such as car parking, catering or the requirement to wear heal protectors
- Doors open and session times
- Links to your Competition Website
- Links to the Competitor Back Number listing on DanceSportLive
- Links to the Proposed Schedule
- Links to Proposed Schedule downloads available on DanceSportLive
- Links to buy spectator tickets
- Thank you for attending and here are the dates for next year
Email extracts available...
- All competitor email addresses
- Unpaid Entry Fee/Ticket email addresses only
The email can be sent to all the addresses that are on the Entry System or we can extract just those who have not yet paid the Entry Fee/Entry Ticket etc. Simply let us know who you want to target with the email.
Things to include in your email...
We advise Organisers make their emails stand out by including graphics such as the competition advert, and handy links to useful information.
How to request an email sendout...
1. The Competitor Email
Send the email you want forwarded to competitors to events@dancesport.org.au
By this we mean the actual email you want distributed – addressed to the competitors.
*Do not include a ‘hello’ to us in the office or any information directed to the DSA office. We will then forward the email directly onto all the recipients.
*Include an appropriate title in the Subject title of the email.

2. Instructions for the DSA Office
Send a separate email to us with your instructions including your target audience; all competitors, or just those who have not paid their Entry or Tickets Fees.
And if you would like to include a ‘hello’ message to the office in this email, you are most welcome to do so :-)
