What is a QR code?
A QR code is a type of matrix barcode which can be scanned using a camera such as those found on smartphones. They can be used to store data including text, images and web links. QR codes are designed to be a quick mechanism to drive customers to your information, hence the initialism 'QR' which is short for 'Quick Response'.
How do Competition QR codes work?
DanceSport Australia creates a QR code for every registered competition which stores weblinks to the DSA Entry System and DSA Spectator Ticket System. Organisers can display the QR codes on their competition information giving customers quick access to the given weblink.
How to create your QR code?
To create your QR codes simply…
1.Login to your DSA Competition Organiser Portal.
2. Select the competition.
3.Click on the grey Competition Status link.
4.Select the QR code you wish to create.
5.Here is your QR code. Copy and paste to your artwork.
