Easing of Queensland's Restrictions - Update
Queenslanders can break out the hand sanitiser and dust off those dance shoes - the Queensland Government has just announced that Stage 2 of the Roadmap to Easing Restrictions will commence from noon, Monday 1 June 2020.
Indoor, non-contact sport can resume for groups of 20 including participants, coaches and spectators. Social distancing must be maintained at all times (1.5 metres between people). Indoor venues must adhere to the one person per 4 square metre rule.
It is important that all RTFs strictly adhere to the Queensland Government's health and safety advice and follow their guidelines before opening their studio - a link to their website is below.
The Return to DanceSport Guidelines also include valuable resources such as signage and attendance registers.
Please note that these are guidelines only - you should rely upon the information provided by the Queensland State Government.
The Queensland Government wil be developing COVID Safe Industry Specific Plans which will further assist RTFs to return to the studio safely. We will endeavour to share this information with members once it is available.
