Recreational ID Cards

The common sense approach for Competitor Registration Cards is to have an Identification Card that can be used throughout the time Competitors remains in a particular Division. This is now possible for Competitors in the Recreational Division because Recreational Registration Cards do not require marking for the recording of Results. A Recreational Competitors Result History is recorded through the Scrutineering System and sent to the DSA database without the need for 'human intervention'.

ID Card

This removes the need to print Registration Cards on a yearly basis which is a very costly and wasteful exercise.

The card will display the Competitor's name and Registration Number (& Barcode of that Number) which will be used at Competitions when collecting Back Numbers.

Should a Recreational Competitor lose their card a new one can be ordered online through their Recreational Login.

Graded Registration Cards

For the present time Graded Competitors and State Registrars will continue to use the existing 'hand written' card system. Under the current time frame it is not practicable to change all the Rules necessary for the introduction of a 'Recreational' type card.

NOTE: For 2014 Graded Competitors will gain Elevation Points in exactly the same procedure as previously. There are no changes to the Graded Elevation Rules for the 2014 competition year.
