The Education Committee is a Committee of the DSA Board established with responsibility to oversee all aspects of Education in DanceSport Australia. In particular the Committee is responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, regular review and continuous innovation of:

DSA’s Sporting Schools Program (Australian Sports Commission partnership to offer DanceSport programs in schools nationally)

DSA as a Registered Training Organisation (to further enhance DSA’s education programs and its reputation as a provider of government accredited training and development)

It is DSA’s intention that in time all education programs will be offered online and/or face to face through a dedicated learning hub – DSA Academy – with its own website and app.
Education and DSA’s Sporting Schools Program are Priority One in DSA’s Strategic Plan. (hyperlink to Strategic Plan). Education also aligns with Priority Eight Performance Excellence and Elite Athlete Development.
