Each advert can have two photos, Photo A and Photo B. Adverts with a clear photo sell far more quickly.
- On Your Classified Adverts, press Photos on the advert.
- Under Photo A or Photo B, press Choose file and pick the photo – on a phone you can take one straight away.
- Press Upload. The new photo appears straight away.
Files accepted
- JPG, PNG, GIF or WebP, up to 12 MB. iPhone photos are converted automatically when you choose them.
- Photos are resized automatically, so there is no need to shrink them first.
- Photos taken on a phone are turned the right way up for you.
Good photos
- One photo of the whole item, and one close-up of the detail or any wear.
- Good light, against a plain background.
- Portrait (upright) photos work best – the top of the photo is always kept when it is fitted to the advert.
- Only use photos you have permission to use. If a dancer is wearing the costume, make sure they agree to the photo being shown.
Replacing a photo. Uploading to Photo A or Photo B replaces the photo already there. Press Remove to take a photo off the advert without replacing it.
