The Inclusion Committee supports DanceSport Australia’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. We help create a safe, respectful and welcoming environment for members, competitors and the wider community by improving accessibility, developing and reviewing inclusion policies, and building awareness through education and training.

Committee Members:
Judy Pegus – Chair (WA)
Judy introduced Para Dance and All Abilities dance in WA in 2018 and across Australia. She is a qualified DSA Coach, Adjudicator, Scrutineer and Chairman of Adjudicators. Judy is also a qualified International Para Dance Coach and Adjudicator.
Bec Toal – DSA Disability Support (VIC)
Bec is the principal of a neurodiverse dance studio. She was instrumental in organising the Playwell series of education and training across Australia for DSA coaches. Bec is a qualified DSA Coach, Adjudicator and Scrutineer and has completed the International Para Dance Coaching course.
Darryl Davenport OAM (WA)
Darryl specialises in Para Dance, and teaching students with Vision, Hearing, Physical and Intellectual Impairments. Darryl is a qualified DSA Coach and Adjudicator and International Para Dance Coach and Adjudicator. He is a Life Member of OUTdance.
Stephen Farrawell (SA)
Stephen is a qualified DanceSport coach and adjudicator. He has completed DSA training for Vision Impairment, Hearing Impairment, Para Dance and Intellectual Impairment. Stephen is also Chair of Special Olympics South Australia.
Lucy Webster (VIC)
Lucy is a proud Aboriginal woman, a foster carer to two young Aboriginal fellas with disabilities. She works at the Royal Melbourne Hospital as the Aboriginal Health Liaison Officer.
Megan Sutton (NSW)
Megan is the founder and director of an inclusive dance studio for children and adults with special needs. Her programs foster participation, community connection and dance experiences.
