Notice of General Meeting — Special Resolution to adopt the proposed Constitution
Notice is hereby given that a General Meeting of DanceSport Australia Limited has been called for Wednesday, 22 April 2026 at 3:00 PM AEST. The meeting will be held via Zoom.
This meeting has been called to consider and vote on a Special Resolution to adopt the proposed Constitution for DanceSport Australia, effective immediately upon passing. The proposed Constitution has been prepared in response to the Australian Sports Commission's review of national sport organisation constitutions and governance frameworks, and reflects the updated standards required of all recognised national sporting organisations.

MOTION: That DanceSport Australia Limited resolves to adopt the Constitution of DanceSport Australia Limited dated 22 April 2026, as published at https://dancesport.org.au/rules/governance/Proposed_DanceSport_Constitution_13-03-26.pdf, effective immediately upon passing.

Attendance and Voting Rights
Only persons whose names are recorded in the National Membership Register are considered members of DanceSport Australia Limited for the purposes of the Corporations Act. To be eligible to attend and vote, members must be a Full Financial Member at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.
How to Attend
Step 1 — Log in
Go to dancesport.org.au/login and log in to your DSA member account.
Step 2 — Register for the meeting
Once logged in, locate the General Meeting notice on your dashboard and click Register to confirm your attendance.
Step 3 — Join on the day
On 22 April, log back in to your member account. Your Zoom link will be available on your dashboard — simply click the button to join the meeting at 3:00 PM AEST.
Voting by Proxy
If you are unable to attend, you can appoint someone to vote on your behalf. Download the proxy form from your member account at dancesport.org.au/login, complete and sign it, and email it to ceo@dancesport.org.au.
Proxy submission deadline: 3:00 PM AEST — Monday, 20 April 2026.
Proxy forms received after this time will not be valid.
