Biographies of our esteemed lecturers
Melanie Sears-Perkovich – New Vogue
Melanie Sears-Perkovich has been one of Australia's top professional dancers for many years and is known around the country for winning multiple Open Amateur and Professional titles across an impressive range of styles including New Vogue, Standard, Latin and Smooth.
One of her greatest achievements was winning the IDSF World Professional Championships. Melanie's achievements are extensive so here a just a few of her career highlights:

Melanie is sort out for teaching, lecturing and adjudicating around the world for over 20 years in the UK, America, Asia, Australia, Italy and New Zealand and is excited to have this opportunity to Lecture in New Vogue to the members of Dancesport NSW. She still actively teaches in her Two studios in Sydney CBD and Chatswood and loves to mentor couples and develop their dancing.
Lauren Andlovec – Moldavsky - Standard
Lauren Andlovec - Moldavsky is a distinguished dancer and adjudicator who has proudly represented Australia on some of the most prestigious stages in the world. After excelling in her juvenile, junior, and youth career, where she claimed all major national titles in Australia, Lauren turned professional and relocated to Hong Kong to expand her knowledge and immerse herself in the global dance community. During this time, Lauren traveled extensively to compete internationally and trained with some of the world’s most renowned teachers, continually refining her craft.
Lauren also lectured and taught ballroom dance throughout Asia, sharing her expertise and fostering a deep appreciation for the discipline among aspiring dancers across the region. Lauren’s international experience led to many notable achievements, including:
Runner-up in the United Kingdom Professional Rising Star Championship
Finalist in the World 10 Dance Championship
Semi-Finalist in the World Classical Show Dance Championship
Quarter-Finalist in Open Professional Events, including the UK Open, British Open, International Championship, and World Championship
Semi-Finalist in all Open Professional Asian Tour competitions
Winner of the Professional Standard at the Australian Dancesport Championships
Since returning to Australia, Lauren has focused on coaching and mentoring, sharing her knowledge and passion for dance with the next generation. She finds joy in inspiring others and fostering a love for the sport, helping dancers reach their full potential.
Aric Yegudkin
Aric Yegudkinis one of the most recognisable faces in the Australian DanceSport industry. Aric is a highly sought after dancer, choreographer, adjudicator & coach. During his competitive days Aric claimed a number of prestigious titles including Australian Dancesport Champion, South Pacific Champion, National & State Champion.
He represented Australia at the World Championships on multiple occasions and ranked 13th from over 250 couples in Blackpool at the British Open Championships.
Away from the competitive floor Aric has won over the Australian public as one of the most longstanding Professional dancers on hit TV series 'Dancing with the Stars', entering his 14th season of the show this year.
His technical prowess and competitive drive have most recently seen him choreograph and creative direct an explosive Latin & Ballroom stage show 'Ballroom Blitz' which after a hugely successful Victorian opening toured internationally to sold out audiences across New Zealand.
After a career of training & development under some of the top coaches in the world as a competitor, Aric now shares his passion and knowledge with the next generation.
As a highly acclaimed coach, Aric is regularly invited to teach all over Australia and has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the Latin world including but not limited to Donnie Burns, Gaynor Fairweather, Riccardo Cocchi, Yulia Zagoruchenko & Mirko Saccani continually developing his skills and bringing quality knowledge back to his students.
Alongside his dance partner & wife Masha Belash, Aric founded his own dance studio 'MOVE by Aric & Masha' and has now produced a number of champion dancers of his own as well as spreading his passion for all things DanceSport with the local community.
