How ranking works
Points
Each ranked event awards points by the number of couples beaten: (couples in the event − your place) + 1. Win an event of 10 couples and you earn 10 points.
Points belong to the couple and cannot move to a new partnership.
Ties
Couples on the same points are ranked by the fewest events. Same points and the same number of events share the ranking.
A rolling year
Points drop off after one year. The rankings update automatically when a competition’s results are added.
