Dance Up! Sporting Schools Program Is Here!
DanceSport Australia is excited to confirm the Dance Up! Sporting Schools Program is now launched and will commence in schools in Term 4, 2026.
What is Dance Up!?
The Dance Up! Sporting Schools Program is DanceSport Australia's official program under the Australian Government's Sporting Schools initiative, administered through the Australian Sports Commission.
Sporting Schools is designed to help schools increase children's participation in sport and to connect students with community sporting opportunities. More than forty national sporting organisations take part. Dance Up! is the DanceSport option.

This program provides a great opportunity to connect studios/registered training facilities (RTFs) and accredited Trainers with over 9,000 schools throughout Australia. It’s free for participating schools, a genuine pathway for new students to discover DanceSport, and a fantastic opportunity for studios and coaches to build their businesses and bring dance to the next generation.
How RTFs and Coaches Can Get Involved
Getting involved is simple and straightforward:
- Register your RTF as an Endorsed Provider if you have not already done so
- Ensure every coach delivering the Program is accredited as a DSA Trainer, and holds a valid Working with Children
- If you are not an Accredited Trainer, then log in to your Account and select the Accreditation button to apply
Once endorsed and certified as per above, RTFs and Trainers will be listed with the Sporting Schools portal via OfficialsHQ ready to accept school bookings from 1st September 2026.
