2023 DME Wollongong National Championship

The Wollongong National Championships is to be held on Sat 24th & Sun 25th June 2023 at the Wollongong University Hall, presented by DME.

Entries are now open!

All entries are via the DSA Entry System. Please check the syllabus and choose the correct day for your event.

The syllabus can be found on the Dance Move Engage and the DSA website with a b/w version for easy printing.

Entries close on 27th May 2023. The Proposed Run Order link will be posted one week prior to the event.

Be prepared for a 9am start with doors opening at approximately 8:30am. We will program 2 sessions each with Presentations on both days. The sessions will likely be separated as follows BUT this could change depending on entries so we will update you closer to the time:

Saturday 24th June

Day Session – All U16 Open, Amateur Open, 6/8/10 Dance, Professional and ProAm Open All Ages* (*new exciting event!)

Evening – Finals of selected events from the Day session, Social Dancing, Table meals served

Sunday 25th June

Session 1 - All Under 16 Solo, Lead/Follow & Couple events, U16 Coach Student & ProAm events, U16 & Rec Synchro events, Rec U21/Ad/Mas Solo, Rec Lead/Follow, Rec Couple events

Session 2 - Am U21, Adult & Masters graded events, CoachStudent & ProAm events

Entry Fees will apply for each event entered and are non-refundable:

a) All Under 16 Division - $5 per event

b) Recreational Division, Coach/Rec & Coach/Student - $10 per event

c) Amateur Division Graded - $15 per event

d) Amateur Open, Pro fessional & Pro/Am - $20 per event

Competitor's require a General Admission ticket. Ticket will be available to download from your DSA account once Entries and Admission is paid. Tickets are required to scan in and out of the venue. If upgrading to Reserved seating you will only need to pay the difference on the Reserved Seating Ticket Order Form once admission is paid to DSA.

Spectator Admission Tickets are available for purchase and downloading online in advance via the event webpage in order to scan in and out of the venue. They will also be available at the Box Office for purchase on the day:
