2022 NSW Open Update

DanceSport NSW are proud to present the 2022 NSW Open to be held at the Centenary Hall, Newington College on Sunday 25 September 2022.

Updates To Syllabus

We have made a few adjustments to our syllabus due to a number of requests from competitors looking to compete in multiple events:

- Masters 1 can now dance Adult Open events

- Youth can dance Adult Open events

- Masters 1 Coach Student and ProAM can dance the equivalent Adult event

The structure for the day will be as follows:

Session 1: Under 16, all graded events, first round open events – to be completed no later than 12noon

Session 2: Open finals – targeted completion by 5:30pm

Session 3: All Pro/AM, Coach Student and American Style events

Within this structure we hope to

- Maximise our audience for the Open events

- Allow interstate couples the potential to fly out the same day with an earlier completion of their events

- Provide Professionals and Coaches with the opportunity to dance with their students after their own events
