DanceSport Victoria International Travel Grant

DanceSport Victoria is excited to announce the DSV International Travel Grant. This comprises two grants of up to $2,500 each, to assist two couples (one Ballroom, one Latin) to participate in an international competition of their choice. These grants can be used for airfares and/or accommodation and must be used by the end of 2021.

Couples in the Amateur Adult Open Standard and Latin events of selected Victorian competitions will be awarded points in an accumulation-based system. 6 points for 1st Place, 5 Points for 2nd Place, 4 points for 3rd place, 3 points for 4th place, 2 points for 5th place and 1 point for 6th place.

The competitions involved are:

ADS BALLARAT DANCESPORT FESTIVAL
MORNINGTON PENINSULA DANCESPORT CLASSIC
GEELONG CLASSIC
WANGARATTA DANCE FESTIVAL
ADS BENDIGO DANCESPORT CLASSIC

After the end of the final competition for 2020, the highest-placed couple in each of the two styles will be awarded the Travel Grant to compete in any international competition.
Qualification is open to any couple that participates in the finals of the Amateur Adult Open Standard and Amateur Adult Open Latin events. Under 21 and Masters 1 couples are allowed to dance in the Adult Open events at the above competitions.
