2020 Selections for WDC Professional Events

The Australian National Dance Council (ANDC) is the official representative body for the World Dance Council (WDC) in Australia. DanceSport Australia (DSA) and the Australian Dancing Board (ADB) work in collaboration as the two corporate and primary members of the ANDC, which has been confirmed and charged by WDC with the  representative selection process  for the WDC World Professional Championships.

The ANDC is pleased to announce that – for the 2020 WDC World Professional Standard & Latin Championships -  the selection process will involve an assessment by the ANDC Selections Committee of the composite results arising from the professional standard & Latin events conducted at (a) the 2020 Crown National Championship, (b) the 2019 Luna Park Championship and (c) the 2020 ‘Outside Change’ Competition. For the 2021 and future WDC Professional Standard & Latin championships – the ANDC Selections Committee will seek and assess applications from dance promoters to run selection events for representatives to attend the 2021 and future WDC Professional Standard & Latin championships, and more information will be provided on this process at a later date.
