Notes
Guapacha timing may be used.
The Cha Cha Chasse to side may be replaced by a Three Step Turn for Leader and
Follower, or Follower only. It may also be replaced by a Ronde Chasse.
The body turns to face partner across the chasse (4 & 1). The feet travel
along the line back toward partner while the body rotates through it, so body
rotation and direction of travel are tracked separately.
Sub-block naming: “to L” and “to R” in the syllabus refer to the
direction of turn, not the side position. New York to L is the
Leader's ¼ L turn, stepping RF forward into Right Side Position — steps
6–10 here. New York to R is steps 1–5. The two sub-blocks are therefore
listed in the reverse order to the step tables.
Foot, direction, turn and count transcribed from the Leader and
Follower tables. Floor placement is computed — the syllabus does not specify distances.
