11.1 Intellectual Impairment (II) is a lifelong condition that affects a person's intellectual skills and their behaviour in different situations.

11.2 It can include difficulties in communication, memory, understanding, problem solving, self-care, social and emotional skills and physical skills.

11.3 Eligible persons entering an II event must have an intellectual impairment and provide a health assessment form completed by an Australian Medical Practitioner.

11.4 The goal of Classification is to have a system in place where competition is fair for all competitors.
