DanceSport Australia (DSA) is committed to providing a fair and safe environment for participation for all its members.
To safeguard the integrity of fair competition, the DanceSport Australia Rules of Para Dance Sports has been prepared to ensure DanceSport promotes inclusivity, and that success is determined by sporting excellence for all competitors.
These rules operate alongside the Rules of DanceSport. Terms used in these rules have the meanings given in the Definitions of DanceSport unless otherwise stated.

All Para Dance, Vision Impaired, and Intellectually Impaired competitors must register with DanceSport Australia and are eligible for an Athlete's Registration.

Upon first registration of an athlete, or for currently registered athletes, Para Dance Sport athletes will be required to upload a Medical Diagnostics Form completed by a registered Australian Medical Practitioner to confirm their underlying health condition and eligible impairment. These forms will only be required to be uploaded once, or if the athlete's underlying health condition or eligible impairment changes.

All athletes must abide by the Australian National Anti-Doping Policy.
The purpose of Anti-Doping is to protect the athlete's fundamental right to participate in doping-free sport and thus promote health, fairness and equality.
