| **41.3** Competitors may not enter into sponsorship agreements that purport to give rights over intellectual property owned by DSA, unless first approved by the DSA National Board. | **41.3** DSA maintains a Sponsor Tag Register recording every approval given under this Rule together with the approved image, its dimensions and its approved position. The Register is available online to the [[rules:definitions#chairperson_of_adjudicators|Chairperson of Adjudicators]] and the [[rules:definitions#invigilator|Invigilator]] at any competition. A Competitor is not required to carry or produce evidence of approval at a competition, and no Competitor may be required to do so. |

| | * **(a)** A Designer Label is approved once, for the manufacturer or maker. Once approved it may be worn by any Competitor on an item of competition attire made by that manufacturer or maker, and a separate approval is not required for each Competitor. |
| | * **(b)** A Designer Label is subject to [[#r41_4|Rule 41.4]] in the same way as a [[rules:definitions#sponsor|Sponsor]] logo, and may not exceed the size, or be worn in any position other than those, permitted by that Rule. |

| | **41.6** Notwithstanding the exclusions in the definition of [[rules:definitions#sponsor|Sponsor]], the DSA National Board may approve the wearing of a logo where it is satisfied that the person, business or organisation provides genuine and material support to the Competitor’s participation in DanceSport, and that approval would not give rise to an unfair advantage or bring the adjudication of any event into question. |

The Chairperson of Adjudicators may require the logo or label to be removed or covered before the Competitor takes part in any further round or event. |
